IWI Beginning of Spring from the standard collection is a bright nuclear green ink with medium shading. It dries in 5 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. IWI ink is made in Taiwan.

This series of inks contains 24 colors to represent the 24 Solar Terms that represent the annual changes of seasons and helps guide agricultural activities through observing the position of the sun. The Beginning of Spring falls around February 3rd or 4th (although most areas of China still feel more like winter at this time of year).
